Compatibility, prescriptions, and privacy
Ray-Ban currently requires a supported Android or iOS phone, wireless internet, Meta account, and Meta AI app for its standard camera glasses. Meta AI functions, languages, and services vary by region. Prescription support depends on the exact frame and eligible power range; use Ray-Ban or an authorized optical provider.
Meta says the capture LED activates for photos and video and capture is prevented if the light is covered. Ask permission, respect sensitive spaces, and review transfer, voice, location, cloud, and sharing settings. A discreet frame does not make recording socially invisible.
